The shorts have an athletic, true-to-size fit with an elastic waistband and adjustable internal drawstring. Use your actual waist measurement when selecting a size; choose the larger size if between sizes or if you prefer a more relaxed fit.
Compression shorts are optional, but most of our customers typically opt to wear them for proper coverage, especially due to the high side split that would otherwise reveal much of the hip.
Our shorts feature no zippers nor Velcro to prevent accidental cuts & scrapes. There are no exposed pockets, though there is a small, hidden internal pocket designed to carry a mouthguard, since carrying it around prior to and after competition can be troublesome since the shorts do not have standard pockets.
Our shorts have been worn at many MMA, no-gi BJJ, kickboxing, and Muay Thai competitions. We recommend checking in with your coaches or event organizer before competing, as rules can vary by event and sanctioning organization.
We recommend machine wash cold with like colors using a mild detergent, then air dry. Avoid heavy bleach, fabric softener, ironing, and high dryer heat. Wash promptly after training.
